Hi, I’m Zach! I live in California and work at Plaid. I grew up in small town North Carolina and studied at Duke.

How I spend my time:

• Plaid. Making financial services simpler, more accessible, and more empowering.
• Mischief. Doing my best to invest in and be helpful to all the best founders I meet.
• Startups. Helping friends incubate, launch, and scale new companies. Mostly focused on healthcare, but also energy, climate, and enterprise software.
• Family. Husband, dad, uncle, friend.
• Outdoors. Surfing (mostly in California, but dreaming of Costa Rica), cycling, running, and anything else outdoors. Time in nature makes us better people.
• Learning. Reading, podcasts, lectures, and dinner conversations.
• On Airplanes. I travel a lot.
